Chief Apostle and Arch Bishop Dr. Earl Thomas Byrd was born in Baltimore, Maryland in 1945 the son of the Late Deacon Walter Byrd Sr. and the Late Mrs. Margaret Dickerson Byrd. He retired from teaching and working for the State of Maryland and presently lives there with his devoted wife, Willie Mae Johnson Byrd.

He has received several degrees in the field of history and Ministry. He became legally blind in 2008 but continued to work in Ministry inspite of his challenges.

Dr. Earl Thomas Byrd’s education included the Baltimore City Public School System, Morgan State University, the Eastern Shore School of Nursing, the PSI Institute, the FB Seminary East, the Baltimore School of the Bible and the Continuing Education Programs of the University of Georgia at Athens, the University of Maryland at Baltimore and the Baltimore City Community College. He has received the Governor’s Citation for Community Work along with receiving numerous diplomas, certificates and awards, he also has received a bachelor’s, Master’s and Doctoral degrees in history related fields. While an undergraduate student, Dr. Byrd was selected an academic Collegian All American Scholar and was inducted into the Phi Alpha Theta National Honor Society in History and was a former member of the Pikesville Jay Cees. He was the first President of the Orangeville Toastmasters Club and was an organizer of the National Association of Community Federal Credit Unions formed in Washington DC in 1975. Dr. Byrd has had two nonfiction papers published, A Short History of Mount Winans and Afrocentric Footprints from Genesis to Revelation. Dr. Byrd has had several novels published; The Secret Night Life of a Super Hero in 2017 and the Awakening of a Super Hero in 2020. These works were his first excursions into writing since he became legally blind in 2008.

Bishop Earl gave his heart to the Lord and received the Baptism of the Holy Ghost in a Youth Choir rehearsal when he was 15 years old and a member of the Doswell Cathedral Church of God in Christ. Seventeen years later he was ordained an Elder by the Late Bishop James I. Doswell.
He was the assistant pastor of several churches, including The Harvest Time Christian Center and pastor of two others:
The Maranatha Church of God in Christ and The Potter’s House Christian Prayer and Worship Center. In 2018 Pastor Earl was elevated to the Bishopric by the Spirit of God and under the auspices of Arch Bishop C. Robinson of Baltimore. He has formerly hosted four Christ Centered radio programs on various stations throughout the Metropolitan Baltimore Area. Presently he hosts two 90 minute international radio programs along with his wife, Pastor Willie Mae “Peaches” Byrd, which are aired around the world on Wednesdays at 7pm Eastern Time and Sundays at 3pm Eastern time (to tune in on your phone or computer dial 515-602-9787).

In his secular endeavors Dr. Byrd managed a Federal Credit Union, directed a community center, owned a downtown coffee shop, provided lunches for a private school, owned a moble produce business, owned the Ekklesia Construction Company of Delaware, and has also worked in nursing on the Eastern Shore of Maryland. Furthermore, he has taught history in a private secondary school in Chase, Maryland and history and business management at a private college in Baltimore City. He was runner up to the New Poet of the Year in 1994 with his published riveting poem “Do You Hear What I Hear.” Dr. Byrd retired from the State Department of Human Resources as a manager in 2002, after over 25 years of government service in Maryland. He is currently a Senior Manager and Director along with his wife of an international legal consulting firm based in Ada, Oklahoma.

Pastor Willie Mae Byrd, affectionally known as Pastor Peaches was born on May 30th, 1958 in Baltimore to the late Willie Johnson and Bertha Marie Johnson. Pastor Willie’s mother will be 100 years old on her next birthday; Praise the Lord.

Pastor Peaches gave her heart to the Lord When she was 12 years old in a Sunday Service at the Doswell Temple Church of God in Christ in Baltimore, Maryland. She went on to direct the Junior Choir and was very active in other Church Programs.

Pastor Peaches received her education in the Baltimore City Public Schools and her post secondary education included attending Coppin State University, Family Bible Institute-East, Baltimore City Community College and the Community College of Baltimore County. She has receive two degrees; one in Christian Education and another in Recreation Sciences. She has also attended and received a diploma and Certificate from the Baltimore School of Massage now known as the Cortova Institute of Maryland .

Pastor Willie Peaches Byrd has worked for the Department of Recreation and Parks of Baltimore City for over 33 years and has received numerous awards and certificates for excellence in School Age Child Care. In 2019 she received a Certification in Customer Service and the coveted Customer Service Pin from the New Directions Program. in 2020 she received the Governor’s Citation and the President of the Baltimore City council Citation for Community Service. She is currently a Senior Manager and Director along with Bishop Byrd of an international legal consulting firm based in Ada, Oklahoma.

She has worked to assist developmentally disadvantaged adults for over 6 and ½ years.

Bishop Byrd’s local Maryland Spiritual Coverings are Apostle Dustin Harper of Owings Mills; Apostle Dwight Smith of Pikesville; Apostle Margie Mercer of Parkville; and Pastors Theordis and Maxine Lee of Essex. The Spiritual Genealogy of RYMM’s Founder begins with the Great, Great, Great Grandfather down through the line to the Spiritual Father; John G. Lake, Robert Lindsey, A. A. Allen, R. G. Hardy and Mitchell H. Warren respectively. Other notable Spiritual Impartations were received from James I. Doswell, Monroe Saunders Sr., Richard Phillips, Avon Bellamy, Kenneth Hagin, Neal Reyes, Dr. Caroline Leaf, Katie Souza, Dr. Myles Munroe Sr., Mel Bond, Jesse Duplantis and Thomas Shwin.
